Congratulations to two very talented P2/3 pupils for jointly winning a recent competition to design the programme cover for the 43rd Highland Hospitals Carol Concert. And thank you to Clare Thom for taking the time to come in and tell us about the work of CLIC Sargent in the Highlands. P1-3 were very interested in their work.
What a fantastic wee Christmas song. Thank you to the talented pupils (and Julie and Ellen) for teaching it to us. We 💕❤️💕it!!
…and we’ve been so busy.
•learning games and dances for our party with our Nursery friends 👫
•playing Santa games in Numeracy time 🎅🏻🎲
•making sticker pictures at the writing table🎨
•eating cakes from the P6/7 fundraiser 🧁
•and some people have made brilliant advent calendars 📆
Great teamwork shown today by P1-3 in PE. We were listening and following instructions when we worked together using a parachute.
As a fun technology homework activity, P1-3 were given the task of building a sledge for a small toy using household materials. Here are some of the brilliant models our very clever class have built so far. As you can see there are some very skilled engineers in P1-3.
A very well researched, thoughtful and personal presentation delivered with confidence and skill by a talented P3 pupil. Well done.
Thank you to Aurelie for coming in to help Else teach us her favourite French song/rhyme about a snail.🐌We loved learning it 🎼 🇫🇷
What a wonderful time we had at the Aladdin pantomime in Aviemore today. It was a great experience with lots of participation and laughs as well as the opportunity to meet friends from other local schools. Thank you to the Parent Council for paying for the transport.🚌
Happy St Andrew’s Day everyone 🏴
What a fabulous performance at assembly with all P1-3 dressed up as their favourite book character, sharing a much-loved book then singing a song from “Toy Story”. Thank you to everyone for such incredible costumes. Back in class it was such a pleasure to see so many parents, friends and family sharing the Learning Journals and the Scottish Book Week bags and enjoying the books and activities the pupils all received.
