P1-3 were over the moon when they were each presented with their Wild Challenge Bronze Award and a set of stickers for all their efforts to help nature. Sara White from RSPB also praised the pupils for undertaking their three activities to help nature and three activities to explore nature since the start of the session. We are all delighted to do our part to help wildlife and the children are welcome to undertake more activities at home. For more info on how to get involved please see the RSPB website.
How exciting it is for us all to have the opportunity to say what we love about our school playground and what we can do to make it even better. Thank you for your help Rachel.
P1-3 are looking forward to the 5 Day walking challenge which starts on Monday. Details in school bags today.
P1-3 made this lovely painting of a Spring Garden with Mrs Law today. We’ve displayed it in the canteen and it really brightens up the room.
Continuing with our Plants and Gardening theme, each Homebase group has planted some herb seeds in pots. We are keeping our basil, parsley and chives warm in the classroom.
