P1-3 really enjoyed the P7 Leavers Assembly. It was a great opportunity to show our appreciation to such a lovely group of pupils who have been such an asset to the school and the community. We are so proud of you all. 👏 We hope you enjoyed your afternoon tea celebration. ☕🍰
Well done to these two very talented sisters who have spent weeks making these very topical and outstanding books. Good for you girls. Very impressive indeed. 👏👏🕷️
Congratulations to the pupils below for completing a Reading Challenge recently. Keep up the practice over the holidays everyone.
P1-3 had a whole day of sporting fun today. So many different activities, all decided by the pupils who displayed such enthusiasm, a super attitude and bags of talent. Every pupil went home with loads of stickers. Fabulous effort everyone and apologies for not taking any photos as we were having so much fun that I forgot!!! However, I am sure the pupils will be able to tell you all about it if you ask. 🌞😎🤸♀️⛹️♂️🏃♂️😃
This week was our last homework of the session and we ended on a high. We had snail pictures, a super minibeast presentation, a wonderful book on beetles, information about lots of minibeasts and bees with pictures, photos and videos of frogs, and finally, incredible illustrations of ants with loads of facts.
P1-3 were delighted to be asked to judge a new breakfast option design with packaging showing nutritional information about fibre and sugar, and basic ingredients which P4/5 worked on as a trio. Whoats was the clear winner.
P1-3 had fun playing with our exciting robot designed specifically for use by young children. It is colourful, easy to operate and perfect for teaching sequencing, estimation and problem-solving.
Long-horned beetle discoveries, Click beetle jumping, three beautiful books about minibeasts, more facts about minibeasts and a cool alliteration poster were all shared today. We also shared some homework writing from our last topic on transport. Great effort from P1-3 pupils this week. 🌟
P2 and P3 were very excited about working on their new set of key words today. So, after practicing “Look, say, cover, write and check”, we played spelling tennis. What a great way to make spelling fun.
P1-3 wrote super pieces about spiders this week. 🕷️
