P1-2 were delighted with a surprise visit from two of their friends who performed incredibly well on their cornets today. Well done girls. We were so impressed 👭👏
P1-2 have been working hard on their Learner’s Statements which will accompany their annual school reports in June. The children have been very honest in their views. I know you will enjoy reading them. 🌟
Day and Night🌝🌓☀️
We had a long chat about day and night animals then worked in our trios on a cutting and sticking activity.
Thank you to all the families who helped P1-2 create a Day or Night character that was then used to write or tell an imaginative story. What fabulous stories we had. Each pupil received a certificate for their efforts. 👏
Starry, starry, night🌃
P1-2 learned about the Impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh and painted their own version of a starry night.
Congratulations to these fabulous readers.
PE in the hall.
We are working on our athletic skills this term.
My Dog Needs a Bone
This is our fictional book of the week. Today we played games to familiarise ourselves with the vocabulary in the books.
Subtraction Active Maths
There is nothing P1 enjoy more than Active maths in their pairs and trios. Great fun.
Congratulations to the P1 group who were the winners of this year’s bulb planting competition. What brilliant wee gardeners they are and what a treat to receive such a magnificent cup. 🏆
